Message Nope, no compromise for conflicting design parameters at all.

Optimal for power production, optimal for longevity and stock may all be one in the same, they might not. For you to call optimal with nothing to back it up other than "It's stock" is just wrong. To tell people that the OD pulley is required when running a UD pulley is wrong. Getting people to monitor their own car and make a decision based off what their situation requires, that is correct.
